YES! When you become a relay node, you're BOTH a normal user AND a relay node. You can still send and receive your own messages while earning rewards for relaying others' messages.
YES! Call deactivateNodeById() anytime. Your MCT stake is returned, and you go back to being a normal user. No penalties.
NO! Messages are encrypted end-to-end BEFORE being sent to relay nodes. Relays only see encrypted blobs - they cannot decrypt the content.
Your uptime tracker stops accumulating. If offline for more than 5 minutes, your session ends. Your tier may decrease if daily uptime drops below thresholds.
In RamaPay: Go to Chat Settings → Relay Node → Claim Rewards. You can claim minting rewards and fee pool rewards separately.
Only if you're blacklisted for malicious behavior (e.g., spam, attacks). Normal deactivation always returns your full stake.
